The Helloworld Travel Hamilton Team

Having studied a Bachelor of Business – Tourism Management at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Charlie began his travel career as a guide, showcasing Central Australia to the overseas market.  After travelling the world, he returned to take over the local Helloworld Travel Naracoorte store in 2008.  12 years on and an abundance of support from amazing staff, family and clients, he has opened Helloworld Travel Hamilton.  Charlie has experienced much of the world and led many groups to Africa, Papua New Guinea and Nepal.  The great outdoors is his passion as highlighted in the many Trail Running events he has entered.  Charlie is part of a Trail Running team in Naracoorte who last year completed their first 100km Ultra Trail event in Katoomba, NSW. 

His next travel destinations include bike riding in Ireland, hiking in New Zealand and taking the family Snow Skiing in Switzerland.

Bec’s love for travel started when she was just 14 when she embarked on a momentous trip to Italy as a foreign exchange student. Since then, it has been her goal to see as much of the world as possible. After studying a Certificate III in Tourism, she worked at Helloworld Travel Naracoorte for 5 years before taking on a new challenge in the travel industry, which saw her relocate to Perth to work with Adventure World Travel. Learning about other cultures and customs are what inspire her most and why she loves destinations such as Cambodia and India. Bec is always up for a bit of adventure too, in 2016 she escorted a group along the challenging Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea. She has visited many destinations including but not limited to Europe, Vietnam, Thailand, Fiji, South Africa, the United States of America and Egypt. Bec has recently embarked on a new journey, becoming part owners of both Helloworld Travel Hamilton & Helloworld Travel Naracoorte.

Next destinations on her wish list: Belize, Guatemala & Mexico or Turkey.

Welcoming Chantal into the fold in 2022! Chantal is a passionate traveller who loves food, culture, food, sightseeing and did we mention food?! Her goal in life, like many of us, is to see the world. She has been fortunate enough to travel to the USA, Canada & Hawaii, UK, Ireland & Europe including France, Germany, Austria & Hungary, as well as Fiji, Bali, Thailand, New Zealand & parts of Australia. The southern states of America have stolen her heart as her favourite destination, particularly the state of Texas because of the laid back, country lifestyle. Knowing how time consuming and difficult creating the perfect travel itinerary can be, Chantal made the transition into travel so she could help others create and enjoy their dream holidays as much as she enjoys travelling herself. Her attention to detail will ensure that your holiday plans run smoothly, allowing you to focus on creating everlasting memories.

Her next holiday destinations include Italy, Greece & Croatia.

Dave joined the Helloworld Hamilton team in March 2023 and has hit the ground running! Dave’s travel experience started many years ago when he and his family visited his uncle in South Africa on more than one occasion. He has since been on several overseas trips including Greece, Italy, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Egypt, Thailand, Fiji, Bali, and America as well as travelling extensively throughout Australia. Dave has over 10 years in sales experience and this has helped him to begin his new career in travel. Dave and his wife Bec took on a joint ownership of both the Hamilton and Naracoorte stores in 2022 and are both excited to see what the future holds with new ventures potentially in the works – watch this space! His favourite holiday moments include sailing the river Nile in 2019 and landing on the floor of the Grand Canyon in a helicopter out of Las Vegas in 2017.

Next destinations on his travel wish list include England (family heritage) and Spain.
